During its meeting on September 23rd, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Mary Cohn as the new assistant principal of North Graham Elementary School. Cohn brings nearly 15 years of educational experience to the role, with a strong background in special education at all levels.
Cohn completed her undergraduate studies at Greensboro College and earned a graduate degree in school administration from Appalachian State University. For the past five years, she has worked in the Alamance-Burlington School System as an Exceptional Children's Program Specialist, where she supported students and staff to ensure successful outcomes.
Her passion for education is driven by the belief that all students can achieve success. In her new role, Cohn aims to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment at North Graham Elementary.
